More About Michelle Nicolson

Michelle graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2010 with a Masters in Physiotherapy degree. Prior to Physiotherapy, she completed a Bachelor in Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa and worked with a variety of sports teams including the University of Ottawa Men's Varsity Basketball and the Men's National Field Hockey Team in Vancouver.

Since moving to Victoria in 2010, Michelle has competed in numerous triathlons and local half marathons. She is also an active member in the Crossfit community. This experience has led her to a special interest in athletic populations for both the treatment and prevention of injuries. She is also a mom to two young children, which has led her down the path of pelvic floor rehabilitation. Whether you are a first time mom, or a competitive athlete, pelvic floor health is a vital component of our overall well being.

Michelle has completed her Level 3 in Manual Therapy with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy and also holds a UBC Gunn IMS certification. She has also completed both her Level I and Level II Pelvic Floor certifications from Pelvic Health Solutions. Michelle's physiotherapy approach is one that integrates her own experiences to develop comprehensive, individualized rehabilitation programs to assist people in returning to health and activity as effectively as possible.
