More About Nathan Miller

I’ve taken a circuitous route back to the island after being born in Tofino, but I am excited to be here permanently and enjoy all the island has to offer.

I’ve lived throughout BC and Alberta, including finishing my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at University of Lethbridge and most recently, my Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

My extensive history competing in sport, including playing university soccer, working with sports teams in track & field and hockey, and being active have grown my passion for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance. My treatment approach aspires to be outcome-oriented to help patients reach their specific goals and is primarily based on individualized exercise programming blended with pain science, education, and manual therapy. I believe these are essential components in successful rehabilitation and ultimately in promoting an active and rewarding lifestyle.

I’m also eager to pursue further education in manual therapy, chronic pain and vestibular, concussion and athlete rehab. Outside of work, I like to practice what I preach by staying active biking, skiing, hiking, or ultra-marathon training. I also enjoy playing board games, travelling around the world, and finding the best local brunch and craft brewery spots.

I look forward to partnering with you in the near future!
