Chiropractic
Chiropractic care at Parkway is an evidence-based, patient-centered, model of care to help patients resolve current pain, and address underlying body imbalances to prevent and minimize recurrence.
Treatment options include: chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy (Functional Range Release Techniques, Graston Techniques), gentle joint mobilizations, pain and healing modalities (IFC, US, Shockwave), ergonomic advice, foot orthotics, and personalized and progressive therapeutic exercise programs
Chiropractic medicine is often associated with the famous adjustment that produces the "crack" or cavitation in the underlaying joint. In actuality this is but one of the many types of manual therapy available in chiropractic care, with many of the joint treatment techniques delivered in very gentle manners with no cavitations or cracks whatsoever.
Dr. Chris LaRocque completed his bachelors degree in biochemistry and molecular biology before taking his doctorate of Chiropractic medicine. He joined the Parkway team in early 2019 and we are delighted to be a clinical partner with him in providing care to our Parkway family and community.
A former soccer player, Chris has a wealth of both clinical and sport science knowledge and is commited to lifelong learning and continuous improvement.
